This is awkward....like being on a first date by myself...I'm looking for someone to first be my friend and if something else develops, well that's great too. I am a Christian and I love Jesus with all of my heart. I'm pretty laid back about most things. I'm loyal, honest, compassionate, have integrity, been told I'm a great friend, have a good sense of humor (even though it can be a bit on the sarcastic side sometimes), a great listener, and am family oriented. I want to live life to it's fullest. I enjoy the simple things in life the most, but am willing to try just about anything once except skydiving and bungee jumping. I like to enjoy the beauty in life that I can find everyday when I'm willing to look for it. I can be content in my own company or with that one special man. I'm not a materialistic person and, believe it or not, your income isn't particularly important to me. What IS important to me is not who you know, not what you did, but how you live.
I want to find a Christian man with whom I can share laughter and life with. I want a guy who can string together more than a couple of words at any given moment. A man who is open-minded and is slow to anger. Someone with a great sense of humor and the ability to laugh at himself is a must! I'm looking for a guy who's willing to give 100% of himself to make a relationship work and would expect the same of me. I want a man who knows how to commit and be monogamous. One who knows how to love and is able to let himself be loved in return. Most of all I want a man who knows how to be the spiritual leader of his family and put Christ in the center of it. I love living near the Chesapeake, or any body of water really. I love being out on the water or the beach. Fishing is great as long as someone else deals with putting on the bait and taking off the fish, LOL. I love music. Especially contemporary Christian and Country. I've always regretted that I never could get the hang of playing an instrument of some kind. Tried the piano and guitar and failed miserably at both...
I have one adult married son, two awesome grandsons, and one beagle named Bella. I'm new to the Baltimore area. Previous to that I lived on Maryland's Eastern Shore.
