...a commited Christian who loves to worship and serve God and to read and study the bible but also loves to laugh and to enjoy the simple things of life and to spend time with friends and family.
I have been divorced for over ten years and have brought my two sons up as a 'single mum' but they are older now and I feel the time is right to seek a new focus for my life.
I enjoy travelling and exploring the big wide world (including this country)and I have travelled quite a lot thoughout my life but I would love to travel more. I like visiting historical places, seeing natural wonders and experiencing different cultures. I suppose I'm a bit of a 'bible geek' so I like to visit anywhere that has any biblical significance.
I like to serve in a practical way that gives me the opportunity to get to know non Christians(at the moment I help out at a Mums and tots group) but I have been involved in prayer ministry and in setting up prayer rooms in the past (although, of course, we are all involved in prayer ministry).
I feel I am a compassionate, loving and caring person who would give my all to supporting and partnering with a godly man.
My boys are obviously very important to me and although they are now basically young men they still do need me to be there for them and I would expect a potential partner to respect this. In the same way I would seek to do all I could to support you in your relationship with your children or other family members. I feel family should be a priority for all Christians.
I prefer to socialise in smaller more intimate settings - I'm not really a party animal. I'm a fairly quiet person and I do like to have a certain amount of time to myself. So you would be able to have time for your own interests and friendships too.
I work with elderly people (which is very rewarding)but not very well paid but fortunately I've been blessed in other ways financially and we are well provided for although not rich! Over the last few months I've been taking more of an interest in healthier living and have been doing more walking and swimming and focusing on healthier eating. I've really benefitted from the results of this and so am currently feeling really enthusiastic about it all (but I'm not a health bore - I hope - and I still enjoy treats and nice meals out!)
