Used but with low mileage, all original parts, no rusty components, no accidents or dents. My second owner is Jesus Christ, who paid a great price for me and restored me. Ready for the road ahead with Him on the driver's seat.
Always looking for the best in life and people, active in church, intellectual, great cook, a man of many talents, never bored, who accepts people for who they are (after all, if Christ accepted me as I was and forgave me, why look at other people's defects? Isn't this the reason why people get divorced?). I am a 7th Day Adventist (no, we are not a cult- we believe that we are saved by grace only, not by keeping the law, including the Sabbath, the day that Jesus used to go to church- Luke 4:16). The enormity of our debt in the bank of heaven could only be paid by the blood of the Lamb of God. "The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world" (John 1:29).
I am missing a rib; the one that is supposed to be around my heart and I must find it.
Saved by the amazing grace of our merciful God, having nothing to claim on my behalf- only to the cross I cling. Well-balanced individual- intellectual- as previously stated (although I do not know it all) but enjoy simple things in life like a walk in the woods, the smile of a child, a trip to the beach, the breeze on my face in the morning. I have been described as patient by impatient individuals :), enjoy helping people, with many hobbies and talents (God was too generous with me) that include deep Bible study, cooking, wood carving, sand sculptures, writing, teaching (former academy teacher and college professor), gardening, practicing sports, museums, exploring nature, fixing stuff and remodeling houses and many others. I keep an open mind to learn new things to keep a youthful spirit and a zest for life. I consider myself to be 100% natural with no artificial ingredients (read pills), low in cholesterol, fat free, gluten free and sugar free, although still am very sweet.
