I grew up in the Wabash River bottoms of Gibson County, Indiana, in a farm family, but I now live in the city. I am comfortable in either place, but the country is by far my favorite place to be. I like to do many things associated with country life, such as taking long walks, target shooting, fishing, and riding the ATV.
I was married for eight years, and I've been divorced for eleven. I've dated since the divorce, but I haven't found "the one." While that is my overall objective, I won't rush or force something that's not meant to be. It's important to me to find someone who shares my faith in Christ. While we don't necessarily have to be of the same denomination, I prefer someone from a Protestant background who lets his beliefs truly affect his lifestyle.
My interests include cooking & dining out; watching movies; listening to and performing music; going to concerts or small scale live music events; politics; taking day trips & other traveling; watching college basketball; and faith-based activities such as church services and small groups; and volunteering or advocating for homeless animals and dogs who have served in our military.
