I'm quite a mix having come from a Scottish mother and an Irish father. I am the first Canadian of the family having no other family in North America.
My Father's dedication to a christain lifestyle was always an inspiration. He represented God in everything he did. I will always remember him for his compassion and unconditional love. He brough music into our home and lives. I would love to meet someone who could bring the music back.
I'm 5'3", athletic with long black hair (to waist) and green eyes. I've always taken life as it comes and enjoyed each moment to the fullest. I believe that God wants us to live and experience the world that he made to its fullest so that in challenging our faith, we can become better Christains. I do believe that God has been with me every step of the way or most assuredly I would never have made it this far.
Thus far in life, I have schooled and worked in Ophthalmology as well as business.
My biggest passion has always been children and family. Yes, I admit to having a domestic heart that enjoys making a house a 'home' and cooking for my little family and close friends. I also have the heart of an adventurer. Likely because I grew up with a very limited family being the first Canadian with my relatives all overseas and my mother against travel. This is likely what had me itching to travel on my own as soon as I was able. I have my father's love of adventure and have traveled across North America hiking/biking/canoeing/camping and just plain loving the sights around me! My father passed away long ago but his passions most definitely live on in me!
I have always enjoyed the study of martial arts and enjoy teaching it to children. I'm athletic and active and traveled a lot before settling down with my children in recent years.
I have two beautiful children under the age of 3 who do not have a father. Yes, I'm doing it alone and yes, it is a long story. My kids are my greatest blessing. One is a girl and the other a boy.
I presently work from the home that I purchased a few years ago so that I can be with them as much as possible in their early years. Our house is a happy place that also includes a few fish. I imagine we'll be adding pets one of these years.
