I am not sure where to start. As usual with dating sites there are not enough options to the questions asked.
I have a strong faith and "talk" to God daily whether through prayer or just regular conversation. However, there is a knowing inside of me that tells me I need to go even further and deeper spiritually and it is my intention to do that in 2008. I grew up in the Lutheran church but over the last ten years or so I have attended non denominational churches. I am currently checking out different churches locally to find one to attend regularly. I guess I would say I am more spiritual than religious. I grew up in church, but the older I get the more I see how religion can get in the way and I have a hard time of understanding how so many churches can be exclusive of a lot of people who don't embrace that particular church's views or meet their idea of what a Chrisian "should be". So, I hope I can find a church that resonates with my faith and my viewpoint.
I moved to Columbus last June (2006). I like it here but have not met too many people outside of work. I have been busy with work, taking classes, and working on my house. However, I would like to meet someone in the area to date and get to know. Ideally I would like a long term relationship - but one step at a time.
I live alone with my 2 dogs and some cats. We come as a package (how GREAT is THAT!) Therefore, if you are not a "pet" person or have allergies we probably wont be a good match. I LOVE to LAUGH! I enjoy good conversation, music, and taking in the sights and sounds of nature. I am always looking to grow as a person and improve myself mentally, physically, and spiritually. That is one of the reasons I decided to put a profile on this site. I am not meeting or dating men that are compatible with me spiritually and I want to change that.
I guess there are a million things I could write here but it would pretty much be like any other profile on here. Bottomline: I am a good person, down to earth with a good head on my shoulders. The details can be filled in later...isn't that the point of dating anyway? If I seem interesting, I would like to hear from you. :)
