It saddens me to think that you left me for over two decades ago when you abruptly died without saying anything was going wrong in your life. I've seen the new moons, I've seen the sunsets and sunrises but nothing of your beauty, especially your warm heart and smiling face that lit up the heavens of my soul I missed you like the sun misses the flower instead of it's beauty to direct it's light too My heart was harden like the frozen world you banished me too. You made me angry and sad and you left me deeply scared and alone with no one in my life I will never understand why God would allow this to happen between us. You were so beautiful to my heart and spirit. You were so gentle and loving Never the least he is still my God. The pieces of my broken heart is so shattered that it can pass through and eye of a needle. My life, this broken heart, became shattered and lost without you for more than 25 years. I'm like a ship with no rudders and no land in site. For some reason I threw my heart into a closet never to open the door to allow to love anyone again in my life I understand, why i am still single and lonely, It's because of you. Why is this love for you so strong in my heart. Why are you always in my thoughts day and night. I can't even spend Christmas or Thanksgiving with anyone. I spend it alone with you on the beach. with my guitar. I hope you heard me on those days. It is sad. I can't do it anymore I guess sweetheart, when I think about you I thought of hope. Hope guided me through those difficult days and nights , especially those many lonely rainy nights. My hope is even though you are gone from my life here on earth. It will not be the last time we see each other. So I write you this letter and will burn it hoping you will receive it I have to move on sweetheart its been to long. I say this with deep sadness with you in mine This is my promise to you. Should I find someone here, I promise you sweetheart I will give her my whole heart and soul as I gave you mine for all these lonely years. She will benefit and thank you for that. You have molded my heart for this day With great tears and deep sorrow and pain . I say this final goodbye with tears as my ink.
