I Would Describe Myself As

My friends would describe me as the life of the party, or maybe that is the one organizing the party. I love to be the hostess and organize events for my family and friends. I am definitely a social butterfly who enjoys music, travel, supporting the Appalachian Mountaineers and Carolina Panthers. Movies are the greatest, however it is rare that I stay awake thru a whole one unless I am at the theatre (friends take bets on how long I will stay awake!) I also try to find humor in all circumstances. My friends say I can make any story funny and I am usually the brunt of all jokes, but oh well that's how it goes.
I guess you also need to know I am a huge Elvis fan. I stopped collecting stuff, because I can not display all I have now. My friends refer to my Elvis tribute/memorabilia room as the Elvis shrine. The room is kind of like mini-Graceland. Maybe I should start charging admission!!! :) I probably need to sell most of my treasures on EBay. My favorites are probably my velvet Elvis and my Elvis cow I purchased in Chicago (they have the decorated cows there). And yes if you are wondering . . . I do believe he is dead! :)

I strongly believe we are the hands and feet of Christ and should be involved in the ministry of the church more than just attending worship. I am actively involved with our middle school youth group and serve as a co-leader of the 6th grade girls. It is such an honor and privilege to be able to shape the lives of young people.
